Google AdWords is permitting its users to submit company trademark on ad text’s in U.S.

Google has brought significant Update to U.S. ad text trademark policy. Now, Ad companies can exhibit their or clients trademark on ad text in Google AdWords under certain guidelines.

The guidelines to be followed are as follows:

1. The company’s website for which ad text is running on Google Adwords must be selling some goods or rendering some kind of service to their client which is directly related to its trademark.

2. The components or spare parts or other products must be available on the website those related to the goods or services of the trademark.

3. Ads should be in descriptive manner and should not be referring to the company which owns that trademark or its goods or services offered corresponding to that particular trademark.

4. The website should not provide space to sell the goods or services rendered those related to a competitor of the company which owns that trademark.

5. The landing page of the ad should clearly showcase that the user is able to purchase the goods or opt for the services offered corresponding to the trademark, within the terms and conditions of the advertising company.

6. The website must provide the non-competitive details about the goods or services rendered corresponding to the trademark’s policy or terms and conditions.
