Image Ads on Google AdSense Link units

June 1st, 2009

Google AdSense recently started adding an image ad to the bottom of each link units page, as the research gave out a result showing descent rise in revenue generation for Google AdSense publishers. You will notice a small addition in the link units page after clicking a topic, if you are a link units user.

Google AdSense image ads are targeted pertaining to the Link units topic which users click on to reach the ads. If there are no image ads depending on the context users’ click on, then only the text ads will be exhibited to the users.

Google AdSense advertisers can bid on these image ads on the basis of Cost-Per-Click or Cost-Per-Impression, so one can earn only for valid clicks or impressions. The performance of image ads can be assessed on ones link units page by generating a link units report on Advanced Reports Page.

I run a related blog about Google Adsense, and was recently quoted saying…

Simply put if you’re reading this, you obviously have interest in the internet. Even if you don’t have your own site, basically the more sites you use Google Adsense on it, the more money you will make.

    Peace,
    Lionel.
